Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary:
The main responsibility of this position is to efficiently perform all daily operations and transactional activities related to the Chemical Store. Additionally, also ensure accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Should have proper knowledge about different industrial chemical items.
- Work on all kinds of daily store operation related activities like, Receiving Chemicals, Managing inventory, storage and Supplying materials to the Washing production floor along with transferring or delivering to different production location.
- Update all kinds of transaction in ERP. Prepare necessary purchase requisition for required items.
- Daily check the stock condition of the Dyes and Chemicals and ensure MSDS / TDS are available for every chemical stored.
- Ensure the timely supply of required chemicals to the Wash production floor and their distribution according to the Production requisition.
- Supply chemicals according to FIFO basis and update the BIN accordingly.
- Follow up the slow moving and expired chemicals status and report as well.
- Follow up Hazard & Non-Hazard chemicals segregated and store separately.
- Keep the warehouse neat & clean and well organized (as per compliance).
- Maintain 5-S, co-operation and co-ordination with Production, Chemist, Sourcing, Logistics, Commercial and all other concerned Departments.
- Always ready for different types of audits and prepare reports related to the Chemical Store.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Management.
