Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities: Act as a bridge for effective communication between Chinese and Bangladeshi stakeholders, ensuring accurate interpretation of spoken and written messages. Translate documents, emails, presentations, and other materials from English/Bengali to Chinese and vice versa with precision and cultural sensitivity. Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, conferences, and official discussions. Assist in the dissemination of product knowledge tailored to the Bangladesh market, overcoming language barriers. Foster clear and professional communication between the company and Chinese clients, vendors, and partners. Support cross-functional teams with language-related tasks and other duties as assigned by the management.
Candidate Profile: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Linguistics, or related disciplines.
Professional Experience:1–2 years of experience as a Chinese interpreter/translator. Fresh graduates with strong language skills are also encouraged to apply.
Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is mandatory. Strong command of English and/or Bengali. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Familiarity with the aviation, logistics, or corporate sector is a plus. Ability to navigate cross-cultural dynamics and maintain professionalism in diverse settings.
