Responsibilities & Context
Seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to work in Commercial Department. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all import-export activities, customs and bond compliance, banking operations, shipping, and commercial team management while ensuring smooth business operations and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage BGMEA, SAFTA, REX and UD
- Oversee all import, export, shipping, customs, bond, and UD operations.
- Ensure compliance with BGMEA, Customs, Bond Commissionerate, Bangladesh Bank, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage LC opening, amendment, negotiation, and settlement processes.
- Monitor UD balances, raw material consumption, and import-export documentation.
- Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, and government authorities.
- Ensure timely shipment execution and resolve commercial-related issues.
- Develop commercial policies, systems, and SOPs to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team.
