Responsibilities & Context
Compliance Manager for a Japanese Multinational Bank.
We are searching for Compliance Manager for a Japanese Multinational Bank who is an experienced in Regulatory Compliance, Anti Money Laundering Compliance, Liaison with Regulatory bodies etc.
Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Communication: Act as a liaison between the liaison office and regulators/authorities, keep abreast of regulatory updates and changes.
- Committee Facilitation: Organize and facilitate monthly compliance committee and operational control committee meetings, ensure compliance-related matters are discussed and addressed.
- APAC Collaboration: Attend APAC compliance committee meetings, communicate effectively with internal compliance members based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and other locations.
- AML, ABC, and KYC Handling: Manage Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, implement necessary controls and processes.
- Policy Updates: Draft, revise, and maintain compliance-related policies, ensure alignment with industry standards and internal guidelines.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk, collaborate with external auditors and HR as needed.
- Crisis Management: Develop crisis management plans related to compliance violations, respond promptly to any compliance issues.
