Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance from a reputed university with CA Part Qualified (Professional/Advanced Level).
Experience
- 6 to 8 years
Additional Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in Poultry, Hatchery, Feed, Agro-based Industry, Manufacturing or Large Corporate Organizations.
- Good knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, tax, VAT and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in inventory accounting, receivables management and fund control.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and office applications.
Responsibilities & Context
- Supervise and ensure smooth accounting operations of farms, hatcheries, sales offices and other business units in compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accounting transactions records, creditors and debtors control and other related accounting activities.
- Responsible for managing cash operations, such as: expenses payable, maintenance of maximum and minimum balances, cash verification and recording, etc.
- Prepare and analyze monthly budgets, fund requisitions and financial performance reports.
- Ensure proper control, recording and physical verification of fixed assets and inventories.
- Oversee store operations to ensure adequate support for raw materials, spare parts and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, VAT and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective relationships with banks and coordinate banking activities as required.
- Support internal and external audit activities and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
- Prepare financial summaries, MIS reports and management reports for decision-making.
- Guide and supervise Accounts Officers and Executives to ensure efficient departmental operations.
