Responsibilities & Context

• Plan and supervise Schedule maintenance of process machinery, Utility machinery and QC machinery.

• Report Plant head for all sorts technical issues related to Maintenance & utility services.

• Analyze problems associated with the process, design, control, flow, range of the plant / machinery and take corrective measures.

• Record keeping and technical correspondences related to design, specs, modification & development of new project.

• Estimation, Requisition placement and co-ordinate with procurement department for the required materials.

• Submit annual budget for Maintenance Dept.

• Evaluate performance of employees under Maintenance Dept. and submit recommendations to plant head.

• Co-ordinate with various dept. & ensure smooth operation of plant.

• Supervision of erection, commissioning of machinery.

• Can forecast spare part planning to achieve maximum output of machines and to reduce breakdown timing.

• Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.

• Exchange views with local / expatriate consultants to solve different problems.

• Prepare & submit weekly / monthly report on preventive maintenance, emergency / breakdown maintenance, overhauling & other stoppage time for the plant & machinery.

• Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment. Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.

• Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
