Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to enhance hospital services and facilities.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in hospital operations and patient care.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to align development goals with overall organizational strategy.
  • Design and execute fundraising campaigns, grant applications, and donor engagement strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
  • Oversee the management of development funds, ensuring ethical and efficient use of resources.
  • Serve as a liaison between the hospital and community stakeholders, including patients, families, and local organizations.
  • Organize and participate in community outreach activities to promote hospital services and initiatives.
  • Foster partnerships with other healthcare providers and institutions to enhance service delivery.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote hospital programs and services.
  • Manage public relations efforts to enhance the hospital’s image and reputation.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
  • Lead and manage the development team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
  • Monitor team performance and address any issues or challenges.
  • Ensure all development activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on development progress, financial performance, and strategic outcomes to the hospital’s board and senior management.
