Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Electrical in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Engineering Firms
Additional Requirements
- Age 24 to 45 years
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a Transformer, Switchgear, or Busbar Trunking System manufacturing factory.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Quality Control department.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and production best practices.
- Ability to supervise production teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Good communication and leadership skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities & Context
Adex is inviting applications for the position of Production Engineer & Quality Controller to join our manufacturing operations in Gazipur. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced industrial environment with exposure to Transformer, Switchgear, and Busbar Trunking System production while ensuring product quality in compliance with IEC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure targets are achieved efficiently and safely.
- Implement, monitor, and continuously improve quality control processes throughout the production cycle.
- Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and IEC standards.
- Ensure machinery, tools, and production lines are maintained and calibrated for optimal performance and accuracy.
- Lead, train, and supervise factory staff to maintain high standards of productivity and quality.
- Work closely with the design, procurement, and QA teams to maintain smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Identify and resolve production or quality bottlenecks to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Maintain proper documentation of production records, test results, and quality reports as per company policy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and process efficiency.
