Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Experience
- 2 to 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)
Responsibilities & Context
- Provide technical expertise in installation of new weighbridge/scales in different units as required.
- Conduct periodic checks and inspections to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Identify issues with malfunctioning or inaccurate machines and use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems related to load cells, sensors, wiring, and electronic components.
- Maintain and monitor ERP for consumption of spares and requesting replacement of relevant spares.
- Provide on-site technical support to customers to resolve issues and ensure proper functioning of the machines.
- Offer remote support when possible, guiding customers through basic troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain Documentation and MIS on observations around day-to-day adherence to Instrumentation Maintenance parameters for the plant/units/locations.
- Maintain service logs and submit reports for audits.
- Ensure & conduct training for customers and users on proper operation and maintenance of the weighing machines.
- Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in weighing systems by recommending and implementing upgrades or retrofitting of older machines to ensure they meet modern standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain good relationships with customers by providing excellent service and responding promptly to service calls.
- Management of common spares and tools needed to repair for smooth operation.
- Provide support in planning for man/machines for vessel offloading pertaining to grab/magnet
