Retail Store

Plan and conduct research on product trends and customer demand to develop strategies for new or updated products aimed at improving category performance
Build and maintain industry partnerships to promote the category’s products, while managing cost-sand driving increased sales
Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and handling excess or obsolete inventory to maximize storage efficiency
Regularly generate reports on product availability, sales performance, and inventory status for data- driven decision-making
Analyze individual product and overall category performance, using key metrics to identify best and worst performers
Prepare profit and loss statements and evaluate the category’s competitive positioning
Develop and implement strategies to improve the category’s overall performance based on analysis of data and market trends
Identify and source vendors based on performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts, ensure favorable terms and manage vendor relationships
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Warehouse, to ensure smooth execution of category strategies across the organization
Provide leadership and guidance to teams, assigning roles and ensuring alignment with category goals to drive overall performance
