• Lead or Internal Audit Certification on 45001:2018 & 14001:2015 will be preferable.
• NEBOSH / IOSH/ OSHA Certification will be preferable.

Responsibilities & Context

Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Bashundhara Group, is looking for some competent candidates for the Position of “Executive Engineer/Engineer- HSE” at Hazaribagh, South Keraniganj, Dhaka.

The talent we are looking for will be the following experience:

• Identify safety & health risk of employees and outline precautions & guidelines.
• Conduct HSE training for site personnel & contractor workforce.
• Conduct HSE Audit & submit report to management.
• Ensure at all times that all safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with.
• Conduct daily checks within the premises and remove or cause to be removed any hazard that is found within the premises.
• Ensure all employees & contractors working inside plant are using proper PPE.
• Ensure permit to work process for high-risk activities on site and continuous monitoring.
• Report all incidents, near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe condition to management.
• Conduct investigations to all incidents & near misses along with site management with the guidance of Section Head – HSE.
• Conduct site HSE orientation for the visitors, new employees & contractors.
• Verify all tools & equipment are safe for use.
• Promote & maintain safe work practices at the job site.
• Conduct emergency response drills on how to manage critical situations.
• Watch out for the safety of all workers & works to protect them from hazardous situations.
• Prepare & maintain all documents to liaise with relevant local & government authority.
• Communicate & Report to Relevant authority in any Health, safety & environment issues.
