Responsibilities & Context

Unit Name: Texmart Trading Company Ltd. (A concern of Giant Group) is one of the leading fashion brand retailer in Bangladesh with brand like Texmart, Occult, and Rave for Mens and Womens.

• Able to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and Windows-related issues efficiently.
• Provide IT support for desktops, laptops, and all IT equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to printers, UPS, IPS, switches, routers, and systems in use.
• Install and configure Windows Server 2012 and MS SQL Server 2012.
• Install, configure, and integrate biometric attendance machines with the organization’s network and software systems.
• Register employees’ fingerprints, facial recognition, or other biometric data into the system and manage access levels.
• Ensure optimal utilization of company IT assets and maintain accurate records of IT equipment.
• Maintain, protect, and develop the company’s IT systems, including managing access levels, access control, and securing the network by implementing monitoring, control, and evaluation measures. Maintain documentation systematically.
• Oversee and secure the server while ensuring a systematic data backup process.
• Regularly monitor IT operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality.
• Develop and implement IT policies, rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure full control and security of the IT network across retail shops and the head office.
• Prepare various MIS reports as required by management.
• Monitor and maintain the CCTV system (IP cameras) and configure attendance machines.
• Update and manage development-related tasks on the e-commerce website, ensuring accurate information is input regularly.
• Provide any other IT-related support as assigned by the management.
