Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Completed Diploma in Mechanical engineering are encouraged to apply.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Architecture Firm, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 32 years
- Knowledge of local procurement procedures for mechanical spare parts and maintenance materials.
- Experience in factory maintenance procurement will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of vendor management and procurement documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Proficiency in ERP software and reporting systems.
Responsibilities & Context
- Handle procurement activities for mechanical and factory maintenance materials.
- Source bearing/pillow block bearing, bush, shaft, coupling, pulley, V-belt, roller chain, gear, grease, mechanical seal, gasket sheet, fastener bolt, nut, washer, MS pipe, GI pipe, tee fitting, pipe reducer, and other mechanical spare parts/materials.
- Collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and support price negotiations.
- Prepare PO, WO, and maintain procurement documentation.
- Follow up suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and spare parts.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, production, warehouse, commercial, and accounts departments.
- Monitor market trends, material pricing, product development, and alternative sourcing options.
- Support preventive maintenance activities by ensuring availability of required spare parts.
- Maintain stock records and monitor inventory levels of engineering spare parts.
- Ensure quality and timely supply of mechanical materials for uninterrupted factory operations.
- Perform other engineering and supply chain-related duties assigned by management.
