Responsibilities & Context

The Executive, R&D for Flexo and Gravure Ink will be responsible for developing, testing, and improving formulations for Flexographic and Gravure printing inks. This role will focus on innovation, quality enhancement, and technical problem-solving to meet market demands and customer requirements while adhering to regulatory and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Research & Development:

• Develop and optimize ink formulations for Flexographic and Gravure printing applications.
• Research new raw materials, additives, and technologies to enhance product performance.
• Evaluate and implement eco-friendly, sustainable, and regulatory-compliant alternatives.

2.Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Conduct lab-scale trials to ensure ink performance meets specifications such as adhesion, viscosity, drying time, and color accuracy.
• Perform physical and chemical testing (e.g., rub resistance, gloss, opacity).
• Support production scale-up and troubleshoot technical issues.

3.Market and Customer Support:

• Collaborate with the sales and technical service teams to address customer-specific needs.
• Provide technical expertise and support during customer trials or product demonstrations.
• Analyze market trends to identify innovation opportunities.

4.Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain detailed records of research findings, formulations, and testing outcomes.
• Ensure all R&D activities comply with environmental, safety, and industry regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
