2-5 years of experience in product design and development along with, merchandising preferably within a buying house or retail environment, with a strong focus on merchandising.
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, etc.)
Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques.
Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and translate insights into effective designs & strategies.
Proficiency in creating visually appealing displays and presentations that effectively showcase products and enhance brand image.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities:
Research on new trends and market opportunities in the sweater industry.
Design and develop innovative and stylish sweater designs focusing on yarn optimization and waste reduction.
Oversee the entire product development process, from concept to production, ensuring efficient use of yarn and materials.
Maximizing product reliability, and minimizing material cost.
Conduct cost analysis to promote efficient designs & manufacturing processes.
Ensure the successful development of new products.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for yarn sourcing and cost savings.
To ensure compliance with quality standards.
