Education

Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
Minimum Graduation in Accounting
Preferred Professional Certification: Income Tax Practitioner(ITP),CA CC, CA Certificate Level

Experience

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shipping, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Group of Companies, Chemical Industries

Additional Requirements

Retired Customs with Official with experience in VAT and Tax work will be given preference
Knowledge of national Tax and VAT Regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong Skills in accounting data processing and financial report writing.
Effective communication skills in both English and Bangla.

Responsibilities & Context

To prepare and file Tax returns including income Tax, VAT and other relevant Taxes.
Handle Tax & VAT planning and liaise with respective officers.
Ensure compliance with local Tax regulations.
Oversee the accurate calculation and timely payment of VAT.
Ensure VAT returns are prepared and filed in accordance with legal deadlines.
Prepare & present the statements for annual Tax and Tax return.
Ensure the issuance of Tax invoice (Mushak-6.3) at every sales point and submission of value added Tax return (Mushak-9.1) .
Keep all Tax & VAT documents updated accordingly.
Develop Tax strategies to minimize Tax liabilities and optimize tax benefits.
Ensure that Tax records are in compliance with regal requirements.
Work with external auditors ,consultants and legal advisors on Tax & VAT related matters.
Liaison with Tax office, appeal, tribunal as well as hearing work etc.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
