Responsibilities & Context
- Conduct chemical, physical, and instrumental analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Perform routine laboratory tests according to established procedures and standards.
- Analyze test results and prepare accurate reports.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain quality documentation and laboratory records.
- Assist in product formulation, development, and improvement projects.
- Conduct experiments and evaluate new materials or processes.
- Support scale-up and validation activities.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and samples.
- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks, test records, and analytical reports.
- Prepare certificates of analysis (COA) and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO, and company standards as applicable.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Participate in safety inspections and audits.
