• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Overview

Digital Pylot are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage software development projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the software industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions to define scope, goals, and deliverables specific to software development.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations for software projects.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies.
• Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and status reports.

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday (Saturday half-day): 10 am to 7 pm
• Weekend: Half-day on Saturday and Sunday off
