- Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.
Responsibilities & Context
- Organize disaster management committee meeting at ward and union level
- Support to build capacity and technical support to union and ward DMC
- Organize and facilitate to community level awareness session on early warning and preparedness at greater ward level
- Facilitate to prepare household level disaster preparedness plan at assigned union
- Coordination and support provide to the community level disaster volunteer at ward level
- Support to organize simulation exercise in respective union level
- Organize and conduct meeting with cyclone shelter management committee and planning for readiness
- Support to organize World Environment Day/ IDDR Observance at union level
- Support to conduct different DRR different survey, assessment in field level when required. Actively participate, through sharing field experience in reviewing and finalizing different survey framework/questionnaires
- Liaison and support to organize trainings for CPP volunteers
- Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the local community and local disaster management committee
- Plan, arrange and facilitate training and support sessions with the active participation of capacity building for DMCs at Union level
- Prepare and submit monthly activity plan, reports and case studies.
