Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Agamichashi Convention Center is under the umbrella of Agamichashi Rangpur Limited(ACRL) is a sister concern of Karupannya Group. ACRL wants to have a long term professional relationship with the Food & Beverage Captain(F&B Captain). Being the F&B Captain he should be passionate, dedicated and energetic to perform the entrusted responsibility.

Key Responsibilities of an F&B Captain:

Guest Service:

  • Greeting and seating guests.
  • Presenting the menu and specials.
  • Taking orders and ensuring accuracy.
  • Coordinating with the kitchen team.
  • Serving food and beverages efficiently.
  • Addressing guest queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction and encouraging feedback.
  • Maintaining excellent client relationships.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervising and training F&B staff.
  • Organizing duty rosters and managing staff schedules.
  • Motivating and coordinating the team to achieve high standards of service.
  • Addressing staff issues and resolving conflicts.
  • Operational Management:
  • Monitoring and ensuring smooth F&B service operations.
  • Participating in menu planning and development.
  • Managing inventory and minimizing wastage.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
  • Controlling costs and adhering to budgets.
  • Implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Sales and Revenue:

  • Actively promoting menu items and specials to increase sales.
  • Upselling and suggesting additional items to guests.
  • Ensuring efficient table turnover to maximize revenue.

Other Duties:

  • Implementing innovative ideas for generating targeted sales.
  • Any other task given by the ACRL operational Manager or Karupannya Group management staffs.
