Experience

Job Context
As a GBV Case Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the technical competence and practices of caseworkers and volunteers, promoting their well-being, and enabling effective and supportive monitoring. Your role will focus on ensuring positive outcomes for GBV survivors through the delivery of competent, sensitive, and timely services while contributing to the mission and goals of Jago Nari Unnayan Santha (JNUS).
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support and Supervision
- Provide individual supervision to GBV caseworkers weekly (2 hours per caseworker).
- Facilitate Case Management team meetings on a weekly basis.
- Conduct case file reviews on a weekly basis.
- Conduct capacity assessments and develop action plans to address gaps.
- Develop and implement monthly supervision plans with caseworkers.
- Monitor GBVIMS and GBVIMS+ data quality and inputs.
- Provide regular supervision and coaching to build the technical competency of case management volunteers as para-caseworkers.
- Provide direct case management support for complex and challenging cases when necessary.
Capacity Building
- Develop capacity-building plans and provide training to JNUS national staff and volunteers in GBV case management.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for JNUS staff, community volunteers, and other GBV agencies.
- Enhance the technical knowledge and skills of JNUS caseworkers and volunteers through reflection and exploration of their work.
Supportive Function
- Address emotional reactions of caseworkers and volunteers, helping them overcome potential trauma from continuous and direct involvement with survivors.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to the team as needed.
Coordination and Reporting
- Represent JNUS in camp-level coordination and interagency taskforces.
- Collaborate with protection program colleagues and other JNUS departments, including HR, finance, and operations.
- Ensure timely and high-quality written reports for donors and JNUS senior staff.
- Provide regular updates and maintain accurate databases on a weekly or monthly basis, as per program requirements.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in coordination meetings and liaise proactively to address field requirements.
- Perform any other responsibilities as requested by the line manager.
Reporting Relationships
- The GBV Case Management Supervisor will report to the Senior Officer-GBV Response.
- This role requires close collaboration with the project team, other JNUS staff and inter-sector agency.
