Responsibilities & Context

A renowned 100% export-oriented knit composite company in the country is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly capable professional for the position of General Manager-Maintenance for the Garments Division located in Gazipur.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
Define maintenance SOP and key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor their achievement.
Ensure that all maintenance activities align with production goals and organizational priorities.
Introduce predictive maintenance tools and techniques to identify potential issues before they result in downtime.
Monitor the performance of machines and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
Manage the repair and replacement of machinery components as needed.
Maintain an updated inventory of spare parts and consumables to prevent disruptions to operations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs without compromising quality or safety.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards related to maintenance activities.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and increase equipment efficiency.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements for regulatory audits and certifications.
