Responsibilities & Context
- Diagnose and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Operate IT hardware tools, components, and peripheral accessories efficiently.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user IT hardware and workstations.
- Install, configure, and maintain networked peripheral devices and networking hardware products.
- Repair laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, UPS, and other peripheral equipment.
- Set up new hardware and install/configure required software and drivers.
- Perform regular system upgrades to ensure hardware remains updated and functional.
- Maintain records of repairs, spare parts, and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors for advanced repairs and warranty claims.
- Ensure compliance with IT security and safety standards.
- Handle assigned workload efficiently and work under pressure when required.
