Having relevant Experience but in different educational trac can also apply.
Minimum 10 years of real experience in the Seed- Sales & Marketing with minimum 02 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Must be able to travel throughout Bangladesh.
Responsibilities & Context
Lead and oversee the overall operations and business activities of the Seed Business Unit.
Develop annual and seasonal business plans for vegetables, paddy, maize, and other crop seeds.
Coordinate seed production, processing, quality control, inventory, and supply activities.
Ensure timely availability of quality seeds according to market demand and sales requirements.
Monitor seed processing, grading, treatment, packing, storage, and dispatch activities.
Coordinate with R&D and Seed Production teams for varietal development, trials, and commercial seed production.
Ensure compliance with seed quality standards, certification requirements, SOPs, and applicable regulations.
Monitor seed inventory, stock movement, ageing, and minimize stock losses and wastage.
Work closely with Sales & Marketing to develop sales strategies and achieve business targets.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and opportunities for business growth.
Monitor product-wise sales, profitability, costs, and overall financial performance of the Seed Business Unit.
Lead and motivate the seed team and ensure effective utilization of manpower and resources.
Establish and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, growers, institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for introducing new seed varieties and expanding the company`s seed portfolio.
Prepare regular reports on sales, production, stock, profitability, market development, and business performance for Management.
Ensure effective coordination among Seed Business, Production, Processing, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
Identify operational and business challenges and take timely corrective actions to improve efficiency and profitability.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
