Responsibilities & Context
- Corresponding with different local & foreign banks to establish RMA, Nostro A/C, extension of Credit line & other issues as instructed by the Head of Division.
- Initiate office note and obtaining approval of the Management for signing the agreement, schedule of charges and/or other terms & conditions with the correspondents for opening Nostro Accounts with them.
- Ensuring and following-up collection of Credit Reports from the D&B and other credit rating agencies for Branches as well as ensuring central database of credit reports.
- Ensuring and following-up collection and payment of Credit Report of credit rating agencies for Branches.
- Follow up and monitoring of Exchanging and updating business documents, AML questionnaires (Wolfsburg Questionnaire CBBDQ V1.4, US Patriot Act Certification, W-8BEN- E certificate with local and foreign correspondents.
- Ensuring daily fund requisitions/ payment of the branches through Nostro accounts and submission it to treasury front office.
- Ensuring AML/KYC documents of the Bank to the correspondent Banks as well as completing AML/KYC documents of the correspondent Banks.
- Corresponding with other Banks and/or our Branches for recovery of overdue receivable and/or payables.
- Ensuring issuance of departmental information circulars as well as circulars of Bangladesh Bank to the Branches and the respective Divisions of Head Office.
- Solving any issues with the correspondent Bank since raised by the branches or divisions of the Bank.
- Ensuring record keeping and circulation of signature booklet of own Bank and other banks.
- Ensuring circulation of lost instruments of own Bank and other Banks.
- Ensuring compliance/Reply of all sorts of audits (Internal, External).
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of International Division.
