Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a large team of 1500 – 2000 people preferably in Special Economic Zone / EPZ.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
NewVision Solutions Limited is hiring – a seasoned & experienced Head of Plant for a Japanese Multinational Haircare & Hair-Addition Products Manufacturer. The ideal candidate should have significant experience managing manufacturing operations and possess strong people management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all factory operations, ensuring efficient production and high-quality standards and proper compliance.
Manage the entire production process, from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery of products.
Identify causes and actionable steps to improve production and efficiency.
Lead procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and inventory management.
Implement and monitor quality control systems, ensuring products meet company and client expectations.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Technical and Quality team to achieve the set goals of Production, Quality and timely shipments.
Ensure shipments with zero defects. Coordinate with buyers on compliance, technical, quality management, audit and final inspection.
Work closely with the management team to align factory goals with corporate objectives.
Ensure compliance with all safety, labour, and environmental regulations.
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing factory team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Report on production metrics, identifying areas for operational improvement.
