• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in fashion, textiles, or clothing technology is preferable.

Experience

• Understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, fabric behavior, and sewing machine technology is crucial.
•  Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships and work as a team
• Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
• Strong presentation and delivery skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
• Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English

• IT proficiency – advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially, Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
• Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines

Job Context:

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Head of Technical (Outwear / Jacket)

Responsibilities :

• He should lead the technical aspects of Outwear /Jacket manufacturing.
• Ensuring product development, quality, and efficiency.
• He should manage the technical design process, oversee production, and ensure compliance with standards.
• He should involves sourcing materials, preparing technical packs, managing sample production, and working with factories to ensure timely and accurate production.
• Independently develop outerwear/jacket collections, understanding market trends, and developing customer-specific designs.
• Create and manage technical packages, detailed specifications, and garment grading, utilizing CAD software.
• Oversee sample development, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications within timelines.
• Manage communication and collaboration with factories to ensure production adheres to quality standards and timelines.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes, addressing production issues that fall outside of tolerances.
• Manage merchandising activities, communicate with buyers, and ensure smooth communication with customers and suppliers
