Additional Requirements

Master’s degree in Disaster Management, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.·

At least 5 years of experience in project coordination within the humanitarian Emergency Response or development sector·

Strong understanding of Sexual and Reproductive Health in Emergency (SRHRiE) contexts.·

Excellent project management and coordination skills.·

Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting.·

Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.·

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity.·

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.·

Strong written and verbal communication skills (both Bengali & English), with experience in report writing and presentations.·

Commitment to high standards of accountability, transparency, and ethical behavior.·

Should have experience to work with urban/rural community and local government·

Should have good command in MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point packages.·

Willingness to travel extensively in the project area of PSTC.

Strong sense of responsibility and have the patience to work under pressure

Responsibilities & Context

Humanitarian Coordinator will prepare activity plan and budget as per project proposal and implementation plan. Coordinate and ensure the timely implementation of program activities to achieve program objectives. Coordinate and build a strong youth platform to help engage in the meaningful participation for SRHR in the community. Monitor and supervise staff activities as per target and ensure the quality of work. Develop advocacy strategies and facilitate advocacy activities. Maintain relationships with decision makers and government officials. Prepare and ensure reports and program documents as per plan and requirement.

Project Coordination:

Oversee implementation of activities under the PSTC SPRINT IV Program, ensuring alignment with the project’s objectives and timeframes.·       Collaborate with government, regional, and global stakeholders to build awareness and advocate for policy reforms.

Strategic Partnerships:

Develop and strengthen partnerships with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), regional networks, and humanitarian agencies.·       Coordinate with donors and other partners to mobilize resources and align project activities.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

Track progress against indicators defined in the work plan.·       Prepare reports detailing achievements, challenges, and future recommendations.

Capacity Building:

Facilitate training and workshops to enhance the capacity of staff and partners in implementing project activities effectively.

Financial Oversight:

Manage and monitor project budgets in both local currency and USD.

Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and donor requirements.
