Responsibilities & Context

PORTWEST, Ireland a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of an IT Seccurity Support Technician to be based in Cumilla Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 5300 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130 countries. We design, manufacture, and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Security Support Technician will be a key member of the IT Cyber Security team, providing remote 1st Level cyber security support to the business, resolving, or escalating system and user related issues raised via our 24/7 Security Operations Centre in a timely fashion.

  • Provide 1st line ticket resolution to alerts raised through our dedication security operation team
  • Office365 administration desired but not essential
  • Managing new users, password management, security
  • Manage security related incidents to ensure a timely, satisfactory resolution
  • Provide accurate information to Cybersecurity Manager
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities and attack techniques affecting our industry.
  • Other cyber security related tasks.

OFFICE TIME

  • 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Monday to Friday (follow the office time of Ireland)

WEEKEND

  • Saturday & Sunday
