We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Technician to join our Technical Support Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, providing technical support to end-users, and ensuring the proper functioning of our organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves both in-office and field support, requiring a blend of technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Hardware & Software Maintenance

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices including printers, scanners, and network devices.
Set up and maintain CCTV systems and fire alarm systems, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide technical support to end-users, both inside and outside the office, addressing any hardware, software, or network-related issues.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including the repair or replacement of damaged components.
Support end-users in resolving technical challenges and providing training where necessary.

Network & Infrastructure Management

Assist in the installation and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, and other related equipment.
Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless connectivity.
Respond promptly to service issues, system outages, or emergencies to minimize disruptions.

Inventory & Resource Management

Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and other IT resources, ensuring timely procurement and availability of necessary components.
Track IT equipment distribution and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
