Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and implement production schedules to achieve optimal efficiency in the forming process.
- Ensure production activities align with quality standards and company goals.
- Oversee forming machine operations and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and adjust the gob feeding machine setup and performance.
- Inspect production samples to ensure conformance to specifications through visual checks and measurement tools like scales and gauges.
- Analyze product defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Supervise and monitor maintenance activities for forming machines, molds, and other production equipment.
- Ensure preventive and routine maintenance schedules are effectively executed.
- Monitor forehearth temperature and furnace parameters for efficient forming.
- Adjust PLC parameters for press, robotic take-out, fire polishing, and annealing lehr to optimize production.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and submit requisitions when necessary.
- Organize the repair and maintenance of production equipment.
- Develop strategies to reduce production costs while maintaining product quality.
- Prepare periodic production reports for management analysis and decision-making.
- Supervise worker performance, provide feedback, and arrange training programs to enhance their skills.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production environment.
- Collaborate with the Mixing Department, Furnace Department, and Sales Team to ensure quality, timely delivery, and alignment of production processes.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the management.
