Your Role: Legal Advisor

As our trusted Legal Advisor, you will be the cornerstone of our legal operations providing expert counsel, overseeing legal procedures, and ensuring the organization’s compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. From court practice to corporate governance, your insights will protect our interests and enable sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to inform company decisions
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents including contracts, agreements, deeds, and mortgage-related papers
• Provide strategic legal guidance on issues related to corporate law, tax, VAT, labor laws, and regulatory compliance
• Liaise effectively with clients, legal stakeholders, and law enforcement agencies
• Mitigate legal risks and manage litigation, negotiations, and legal processes
• Serve as the in-house legal advisor to protect the organization’s legal rights
• Ensure strict compliance with Bangladesh’s legal framework including Labour Laws, Tax Law, and Criminal Law

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM)
• Enrolled with the Bar Council
• Minimum 10 years of court practice experience (preferably in Dhaka)
• Minimum 5 years of corporate legal experience

Strong knowledge of:

• Bangladesh Labour Laws and Rules
• Tax and VAT regulations
• Contract and Criminal Law
• Legal procedures and documentation

Key Skills:

• Excellent legal research and analytical capabilities
• Strong personal ethics and integrity
• Mastery in contract negotiation and legal drafting
• In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance and governance
• Outstanding communication, persuasion, and client-handling skills
