Job Circular: Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Merchandising
Overview:
RFL, a leading local conglomerate with a rich legacy in the footwear & luggage industry is seeking to hire some “Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Merchandising” for its Footwear & Luggage Business. This role will involve managing the end-to-end merchandising process, including vendor communication, product development, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Coordination: Sourcing for local & foreign Buyers.Communicate with suppliers to manage product development, including material procurement and sample production. Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage the merchandising process from concept to shipment.

Product Development: Track progress from initial concept to final product, ensuring all merchandise meets quality and design specifications.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to support production and sales requirements.

Market Research: Conduct research to analyze trends and consumer demands to aid in decision-making.

Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to optimize the supply chain, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.

Track and monitor production timelines to ensure deadlines are met and regularly communicate progress with buyers.

Prepare cost sheets, negotiate pricing with suppliers, and manage budgeting to ensure profitability.
