Additional Requirements
- Minimum 08 years of banking/financial services experience, with at least 5 years in recovery/collections leadership.
- Proven track record in reducing NPLs and improving portfolio quality.
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Bank recovery guidelines, legal frameworks, and settlement practices.
- Experience in managing large recovery teams and external agencies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer handling skills.
- Ability to design structured campaigns (e.g., settlement drives, incentive programs) to achieve results.
Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for experienced and strategic Manager of Card Recovery & Collection to lead the recovery, collection, and portfolio quality management of our Cards Division. The incumbent will ensure effective NPL (Non-Performing Loan) management, design innovative collection strategies, and lead a large team to achieve sustainable recovery while maintaining customer relationships and full regulatory compliance.
- Lead the card recovery and collection function to minimize delinquency and NPL ratios.
- Develop and execute collection strategies, policies, and action plans aligned with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Manage customer communication, settlement programs, and recovery drives in a professional and ethical manner.
- Collaborate with branches, legal, and external agencies for efficient recovery.
- Monitor portfolio risk trends and implement preventive measures to reduce future delinquency.
- Drive digital and automated collection solutions (dialers, SMS, predictive analytics, etc.) to enhance efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the collection team to achieve monthly and annual recovery targets.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and recommendations.
- Ensure strict compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and internal audit standards.
