Requirements

Education

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (CA/CMA/CFA preferred).

Experience

    • 8 to 12 years

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 08 years of banking/financial services experience, with at least 5 years in settlement, reconciliation, or ADC accounting leadership.
  • Strong understanding of ATM/POS settlement cycles, card accounting, and inter-bank clearing processes.
  • Proven expertise in dispute resolution, charge back handling, and transaction monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Bangladesh Bank ADC settlement guidelines and regulatory reporting.
  • Proficiency in core banking systems, switch reconciliation tools, and settlement software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.

Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manager, Dispute & Settlement for Alternative Delivery Channels to manage reconciliation, settlement, and accounting processes across all Alternate Delivery Channels (ADC). The incumbent will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in handling high-volume transactions from ATMs, POS, CRM/CDMs, Mobile & Internet Banking, QR, and other digital channels.

  • Lead end-to-end settlement and reconciliation processes for all ADC transactions (ATM, POS, QR, CRM/CDM, Internet/Mobile Banking, Agent Banking, etc.).
  • Ensure timely and error-free settlement with internal systems, partner banks, payment networks (Visa, MasterCard, TakaPay, Nexus, etc.), and PSPs.
  • Oversee daily GL postings, suspense account monitoring, and clearing activities.
  • Investigate and resolve transaction disputes, chargebacks, and settlement breaks in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Establish robust controls and automation frameworks to minimize operational risk.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth processes.
  • Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and reconciliation statements for management and regulators.
  • Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Bank reporting requirements and internal audit standards.
  • Drive process automation, RPA, and digital monitoring solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Mentor and guide the settlement & accounts team to build a strong, performance-driven culture.
