Requirements
Education
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in EEE/Mechanical
Experience
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Multinational Companies, Power
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 35 years
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in EHS/QA-QC, preferably in solar, electrical, EPC, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, quality management systems, and rooftop solar installation practices.
- Additional certifications in HSE, NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 are often preferred.
- Experience in solar EPC, renewable energy, construction, or electrical projects.
Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and implement EQS policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Ensure compliance with legal, client, and company requirements related to safety, quality, and environmental management.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and drive continuous improvement.
Quality Management
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures.
- Ensure solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and other materials meet project specifications.
- Conduct inspections and audits during installation and commissioning.
- Monitor project quality KPIs and implement corrective actions.
Health & Safety Management
- Develop and enforce site safety plans and safe work procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments for rooftop work, electrical activities, lifting operations, and working at heights.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with local occupational health and safety regulations and ISO 45001 requirements.
Site Audits & Compliance
- Conduct regular HSE and quality audits across project sites.
- Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with EQS requirements.
- Maintain documentation, permits, inspection records, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies during inspections.
