Requirements

Education

• From any recognized university Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Industrial & Production/Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Textiles Engineering.

Experience

• 5 to 10 years

Responsibilities & Context

The position is factory based IE & Planning:

• Design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to point up maximum efficiency using IE method/tools.
• Set up every day’s standard input ratio & create sensitivity to workers about new methods systematically in respect of garment manufacturing.
• Identify & eliminate bottlenecks that delay production associated schedules to meet the ultimate standard and initiate simplification in the overall production process.
• Ensure Proper Method & Time Study Ensure Proper line balancing & confirm daily line-wise production target.
• Order status monitoring & regularly scheduled meeting with merchandising, marketing & Production people to achieve production target as per order planning.
• Building relationship with merchandising department & production people for smooth operation.
• Ensure accurate & optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability.
• Manage All Factories IE staff Always be updated on production status whether it is meeting the production plan or not, if not then make a route cause analysis and give a quick solution for a smooth operation.
• Close relationship with operational teams to ensure on-time delivery of products & optimal utilization of equipment & manpower.
• Any other task provided by the top management.
• The position is factory based Knitting & Dyeing:A knowledgeable person on fabric, its manufacturing, dyeing, printing, finishing & other relevant processes.
• Ensure proper quality of fabrics (From fabric sourcing to shipment of garments) as per buyer requirements & management instructions.
• Resolve fabric-related all kinds of problems as per buyers’ guiding & management instructions.
• Ensure that all test reports of fabric meet buyer technical requirements.
• Face buyers/ Auditors/ Inspections if needed to resolve fabric-related technical problem(s)Support on any fabric issues, starting from sourcing, development, sampling, base test, lab-dip/strike-off/handloom, bulk testing, appearance, handle and color approval, garment washing, garment dyeing, etc.
• Coordinate with the merchandising, Quality, Sourcing, and design teams to understand fabric requirements and specifications for various collections.
• Work with fabric suppliers and assess their capabilities to meet our demands (as per management guidelines).
• Evaluate fabric samples based on color consistency, hand feel, composition, shrinkage, durability, and other relevant properties.
