Requirements

Education

  • Working experience in Health and Nutrition field would be added value.

  • Have computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, and Excel).
  • Excellent influencing, negotiating and communication skills (both English and Bangla).
  • Excellent organization, and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritize and meet deadlines in a complex and challenging environment; must be culturally sensitive.
  • Ability to operate in a complex organization, across functions and work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse teams.

Purpose:

  • This position will take lead for knowledge management and reporting of the project activities (training, research, mobilization, policy advocacy, documentation, development and mainstreaming activities). More responsibilities will be given emphasis to compilation of Annual work plan, implementation plan and guideline formulation, donor and sector reporting, prepare knowledge product such as case studies, story etc. Manager, Knowledge Management and Donor Reporting is also bound to maintain the documentation of the update and outcomes of each activity under the objectives, liaison with MIS and Communication department, prepare Health and Nutrition portfolio, bulletins and newsletters.

Project Planning and Reporting:

  • Provide the team lead with accurate and timely reporting of activities according to BRAC, donor and other applicable timeframes and formats as per the organization and sector approved proposals and plans
  • Conduct the program review planning and assist the Health and Nutrition Sector leads to have the information in place for the best decision making process.
  • Compile and map all the grants information and track department reporting timeline.
  • Conduct the need assessment through leading the team and prepare the assessments report with clear needs identification.
  • Prepare sector reports and donor report
  • Follow monitoring findings tracking sheet and take necessary steps to resolve monitoring feedback in coordination with respective project managers.
  • Facilitate webinars, workshops, events, publications (blogs, op-eds, reports, fact sheets, stories from the field, etc.) for the practitioners.

Information Management & Documentation:

  • Prepare all the presentations as best as per quality.
  • Visualize the reports and the targets at both Cox’s Bazar and field and provide the feedback on the report qualities before being sent out.
  • Work with the information management to ensure the information are collected, analyzed and disseminated through clear support from you.
  • Follow project monitoring findings tracking sheet and take necessary steps to resolve monitoring feedback.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting and Medical Incident Reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
  • Prepare and review fact sheet regularly basis.

Project Formulation Development:

  • Provide support to the sector Leads for the formulation project concept note or project proposal and support the team lead in finalizing the funds raising process.
  • Initiate and participate Joint response Planning (JRP) process be a focal of JRP process

Knowledge Management:

  • Draft and finalize the dashboard, bulletins and newsletters.
  • Work closely with funding agencies in issues related to knowledge management and take the necessary actions for recommendations or feedback from the agencies.
  • Work with communication to prepare videos a success stories for the Health and Nutrition sector of BRAC and share the reports within BRAC on timely basis
  • Ensure updated guidelines and SOP in health facilities.
  • Maintain training tracker for all Health and Nutrition staff.

Technical Support:

  • Train the project staff in all issues related to the program quality and all actuality related issues and ensure they practice in the project implementation
  • Follow up quality findings and action plans.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Take immediate action to mitigate service gaps and provide technical guidance and support to the team to achieve timely and quality service.
  • Keep close observation and communication with the MEAL team and their findings to improve the service effectiveness and data quality.

Safeguarding:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do soce with government and organisational recruiting policies and regulations related to diversity and inclusion
