Additional Requirements

Master’s Degree in Polymer Science/Chemical Engineer or Footwear Technology will get preference.
Minimum 15 years of experience in in developing / producing / quality controlling the Leather footwear products with 7 years of exclusive experience in shop-floor production management & control.

Design annual production plan of end-to-end Leather footwear division so that Apex can achieve overall business objective.
Initiate Leather product development with new innovative ideas and drive the new development projects to align with market dynamics in terms of design, compounding, USP & costing.
Perform root cause analysis to arrive and implement permanent solution to the quality issues in order to continuously improve the Leather product quality.
Planning monthly freezing, complete tooling for each article, capacity up-gradation (operator multi-skill development) & product line scheduling.
Optimal utilization of production capacity (Man-Machine-Materials) to ensure best performance.
Prepare Leather Products strategy so that Operations KPI Target of can be achieved.
Drive and motivate the team to come with new ideas on improving the productivity, quality, production friendly tools, methods, materials, processes, and cost saving suggestions and execute them if the trial runs prove worthy.
Control material wastage & Rejection rate as per approve plan.
