Over the years it has progressed as the largest single producer of aluminum products in Bangladesh. DHAKATHAI ALCOMAXX PLC always put best effort to employ the best human resources and now the company is looking for a dynamic individual for the post of Logistics and Distribution Management for its Factory situated in Burirpara, Purba Narasinghapur, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka.
The incumbent should develop and implement strategies to optimize storage and distribution operations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
Reporting line: Factory GM/ In charge.
Job Responsibilities
Finished Goods warehouse Management:·
- Responsible for the implementation of Warehouse management system. Customized ERP system is in place – need to maximize the system.·
- Implement best practice of racking and stocking of finished goods to ensure faster delivery.·
- Planning for finished goods stock keeping and ensure minimum and maximum stock keeping is ensured.·
- Ensure actual stock keeping data in ERP system.·
- Implement Bar coding system for finished goods so that receiving and issuing of finished goods during delivery will be done through Barcoding system.·
- Management report of delivery and warehouse stock·
- Lead the monthly and quarterly inventory of finished goods warehouse stock.·
- Training of the warehouse resources.
Production planning based on Orders:·
- Based on confirmed Sales order and available stock – production order planning·
- Production planning based on Min-Max stock keeping logic.·
- Delivery of orders at the fastest possible time by checking Work in progress.
Distribution planning and execution:
Based on sales orders and patterns, the manager has to plan for transportation with a third party who provides trucks. The manger will be responsible for·
- Coordination with third party transport providers·
- Plan for daily delivery route based on order placed using ERP system.·
- Maintain KPI of the transports.·
- Ensure Delivery KPI·
- Ensure errorless full delivery within timeline
The candidate must be an expert in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Must be analytical and quick decision makers.
