Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for competent personnel for the post of “Manager- Planning” for a reputed woven textile manufacturer. The incumbent must have initiative, experience & the drive to deliver high-quality results.
Develop and implement comprehensive production plans aligned with sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
Create detailed schedules and timelines for manufacturing operations to meet delivery deadlines.
Liaison with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align production plans with customer demand and market trends.
Monitor production output and adjust plans as necessary to optimize resource utilization, manpower utilization, cost optimization and minimize downtime.
Lead a team of planners and coordinators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment to achieve production goals as planned.
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure adequate stock availability.
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
Communicate production schedules and updates effectively across departments to ensure seamless workflow and coordination.
Any other task as assigned by the management.
