Responsibilities & Context

Incumbent is to ensure that the woven products are manufactured as per quality standard, consistent and meets total quality aspects. The role is concerned with monitoring and advising on the performance of the quality management system, determining and ensuring quality procedures, standard and specifications, assuring buyer requirements are met.

Job Responsibility:

• Direct & coordinate the company’s quality program including the implementation of QA procedures independently;
• Ensuring the projected DHU percentage, determining KPI (Quality related) & Traffic Light System;
• Develop & train the QC team regarding the various defects (Major, Minor, critical & other from the customer);
• Maintaining initial, inline & final inspection from sewing to finishing section;
• Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians and other;
• Ensure good quality production of garments & on time delivery;
• Effectively handle the root cause, analysis & corrective action plan proactively;
• Review current standards & policies and Keep record of quality report for statistical reviews & relevant documentation to ensure legal standards are met;
• Lead and monitor the entire quality work and report to management;
• Coordination with buying QC and give them proper support in all quality related matter;
• Working with the operation team to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures;
• Leading the team for changes, innovation and achieving company goals, develop technical skills strongly to the team members;
• Strong follow-up safety requirements, measurements, and process control as per buyer requirements;
• Ensure Quality & Conformity of products according to buyer’s requirements;
• Any other job assigned by the management

Key Result Areas:

• 100% Pass rate of Pre-final and Final Inspection for goods to ship
• Ensure less than 4% DHU rate at sewing line
• Ensure projected efficiency rate of the QA personnel
• Bundling accuracy rate at cutting section-99%
• Ensure less than 2% DHU rate at Finishing section
