Responsibilities & Context

Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation:

• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective QMS in accordance with international standards.
• Establish and ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are properly followed across all quality-related operations.
• Set quality benchmarks in line with buyer specifications and international standards.

Planning and Coordination:

• Develop QA plans aligned with production schedules and buyer timelines.
• Coordinate closely with production, merchandising, and technical teams to align on quality objectives.
• Conduct Pre-Production Meetings on a regular basis with all relevant departments to discuss product specifications, technical requirements and quality expectations.

Monitoring and Quality Control:

• Oversee inspections during cutting, sewing, finishing and packing stages.
• Establish and monitor quality standards using AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) and other industry-accepted systems.
• Analyze defects, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Team Management and Training:

• Supervise and guide QA/QC teams including Quality Controllers and Inspectors.
• Define clear responsibilities and performance goals for all QA personnel.
• Conduct regular training for all employees of the Quality Assurance Department to ensure they are updated on procedures, buyer standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead performance reviews and provide ongoing support and feedback to the QA team.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate quality records including inspection reports, audit logs, defect analyses and CAPA documentation.
• Generate and submit quality reports to management and buyers as needed.
• Maintain audit readiness by ensuring proper documentation and traceability for all quality processes.

Buyer and Compliance Interaction:

• Manage and facilitate buyer inspections, audits, and evaluations.
• Ensure full compliance with buyer-specific requirements and industry regulations.
• Address any buyer complaints regarding quality and oversee implementation of improvements.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve product quality and reduce rework or waste.
• Recommend and implement Lean, Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies where applicable.
• Promote a strong quality culture throughout the factory.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

• Collaborate with compliance and HR teams to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Enforce chemical and product safety standards in accordance with local laws and buyer policies.
