Responsibilities & Context
- Lead and manage a team of lab technicians responsible for dyeing experiments and color matching.
- Develop and implement dyeing procedures and protocols to ensure consistent and high-quality results.
- Oversee the testing of dye formulations and evaluate their performance on various fabrics.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new dye formulations and processes.
- Monitor and optimize dyeing parameters to achieve desired colorfastness, color consistency, and fabric quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the handling and disposal of chemicals.
- Maintain accurate records of dyeing experiments, formulations, and results.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the dyeing process and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor lab technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in dyeing technology and techniques.
