Responsibilities & Context

Bhaiya Construction Ltd, is a construction company engaged in various types of projects, including government, private, and autonomous organization tenders. They bid on these tenders, secure contracts, and complete the associated projects. We are currently looking to strengthen our Tender team and are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Tendering Manager.

Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Tender Submission Documents: Creating the Technical & Financial documents.
  • Detailed review of Tender documents: Technical bid, Specification, Price bid enquiry, List of tender Submittals, evaluate drawings.
  • Create Equipment & Manpower Schedule, Key Personnel CV, Method Statements.
  • Working on Price Escalation, and Variation orders.
  • Purchasing Tender documents, studying tender data sheet & necessary clauses.
  • Making list of Queries during the tender call, Attending Pre-Bid Meetings, Communicate with Clients and Consultants.
  • Draft Bank guarantee (BID Bond/Performance Security), Letter of Credit Commitment /Facilities and bill assignment documents.
  • Maintain and update contractual records, changes, status reports, and other information.
  • Pre-contract Estimation/Costing/Budgeting, Preparation of Construction Program & Planning.
  • Conduct Project Risk and Unit Rate analysis, and Formulate the Bid strategy.
  • Ensure Project Site is visited before costing in order to analyze the availability of Labour, Material, Plant and Equipment.
  • Monitor contract compliance with established procedures: Ensure all contracts are signed and delivered to relevant parties.
  • Preparation of Contract Documentation, Expression of interest, pre-qualification.
  • Contract administration, Post Contract Management of projects: valuations, variations, cost reporting, Named and Nominated Sub-Contractors.
  • Letter drafting: Drafting JV Agreements, Power of Attorney, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
  • Preparing and handling correspondences, of contractual letters to Employer, Consultant, Subcontractors, Engineers.
  • Monitoring the tender submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency, accuracy and compliance.
  • Detail knowledge on e-GP system of CPTU.

  • Salary will be dependent based on the candidate’s experience. This will be negotiated during the time of the interview
  • Additional benefits: Festival Bonus (on salary), Mobile Allowance, Annual Leave and Medical Leave.
  • A Performance Incentive will be given if the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) is achieved. The KPI will be set by the management.
