- Masters
- Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
- Post-graduation degree from any recognized university preferably in Economics / Finance / Accounting / Banking / Management or Business Administration is needed. No third division/class is acceptable in any academic result.
Experience
- At least 20 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Leasing
Additional Requirements
- Age At most 62 years
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in the finance company or banking sector, including at least 02 years of experience in the immediate previous position before MD & CEO.
- Age limit is maximum 62 years at the time of application. Must comply with all the requirements of being the MD & CEO as per DFIM Circular No. 03, dated 25 March 2024.
Responsibilities & Context
Bay Leasing & Investment Limited (BLIL), a Finance Company licensed by Bangladesh Bank is inviting applications from qualified, dynamic and visionary professionals for the position of its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) to lead and turnaround BLIL towards sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- The MD & CEO will provide strategic leadership to corporate turn-around strategies with emphasis on risk management, asset quality and operational efficiency towards profitability and sustainability of the company ensuring adherence to the Finance Company Act, 2023 and other applicable laws and regulations.
- He/She will oversee recovery of classified assets, manage liabilities effectively, and implement robust internal control mechanisms.
- The role also requires maintaining strong stakeholder relations with regulators, shareholders, and investors to rebuild confidence and strengthen BLIL`s reputation.
