Experience: At least 4 years of experience in database management, data analysis, and MEAL activities, preferably in the NGO sector.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in database management software (e.g., MS Access, SQL, etc.).
- Strong skills in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, STATA, or other statistical software).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and methodologies.

Responsibilities & Context
Organization: Community Development Association (CDA) [Host: Bangladesh Land Rights Network]
About Us: In 2014, BLRN initiated its first journey as the “National Engagement Strategy (NES). “BLRN” stands for the Bangladesh Land Rights Network, a multi-stakeholder platform led by national actors dedicated to simplifying and addressing the complexities and challenges of land governance. BLRN employs the International Land Coalition’s (ILC) 10 commitments to people-centered land governance as a guiding framework.
Reports To: Country Facilitator
Duration: 10 Months (Fulltime, Contractual)
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Entry:
- Assist in designing and implementing data collection tools and methodologies.
- Collect data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Enter and maintain data in the organization’s databases, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Database Management:
- Develop and maintain database systems for program monitoring and evaluation.
- Ensure data is regularly updated and backed up.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, working closely with the IT team as needed.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in analyzing data to generate insights and reports.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations based on the data collected.
- Support the MEAL team in data interpretation and decision-making processes.
- Capacity Building:
- Train and support staff and partners on data collection and database management tools.
- Provide ongoing technical assistance to ensure effective use of MEAL systems and databases.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all data collection and management activities.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge management systems and processes.
- Accountability:
- Support the implementation of accountability mechanisms, including feedback and complaint systems.
- Ensure timely response and resolution of feedback and complaints.
- Learning and Improvement:
- Participate in learning and reflection sessions to improve MEAL practices.
- Contribute to the documentation of lessons learned and best practices.
Compensation & Other Benefits
Salary: 30,000 BDT per month (consolidated).
