Responsibilities & Context
- Conduct laid down servicing schedule of long haul fleet as detailed.
- Diagnose and rectify problems as required.
- Repair & Overhaul on units such as engines and transmissions. Repair or replace brake, clutch and steering systems.
- Report difficulties, unsolved problems or unsafe systems of work to superiors.
- Assist in the training and development of new employees.
- Always maintain health & safety standards, & report any unsafe acts to his superiors.
- Desirable to have completed training courses conducted by relevant equipment manufacturers
- Knowledge on running gear and under chassis components
- Knowledge on Auto-electrical system.
- Knowledge on Engine overhauling/dismantle/reassembly.
- Knowledge on Transmission overhauling
