Responsibilities & Context
- Evaluating the history and symptoms of patients.
- Performing tests and interpreting the results.
- Discussing diagnoses with patients and explaining treatment pediatric surgical conditions.
- Perform surgeries on infants, children, and adolescents.
- Assist Pediatric Surgery Operation with Pediatric Surgeon.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care.
- Monitor patients’ progress and make adjustments to treatment plans.
- Detailed history taking and Physical examination and documentation.
- Monitoring the progress of patients through follow-up appointments and adjusting treatment as needed.
- Responsible for sending the patient for the appropriate investigation as directed by the primary consultant and also to authorize investigations, which are urgent.
- Updating and maintaining patient records.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest medical developments in the field by doing research and attending conferences and talks.
