Additional Requirements

5-7 years of experience in merchandising within the RMG sector, preferably with exposure to woven denim products.
Strong knowledge of textile materials, costing, and production processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to effectively collaborate with teams and meet buyer expectations.

Responsibilities

Experience in woven-based RMG especially in Denim is a must.
Have a strong understanding of denim fabric sourcing and washing processes to ensure quality and meet buyers’ standards.
Handle product costing, price negotiations and prepare cost breakdown sheets.
Monitor and ensure the timely development of samples and prototypes.
Lead product development to create designs that meet client expectations and trends.
Manage the sampling process from start to finish, ensuring samples align with design and quality goals.
Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers, maintaining excellent correspondence and presentation skills for clear updates and approvals.
Sound knowledge of production (pattern, consumption and wash etc.).
Coordinates with the production team in order to deliver on-time shipments.
